Abstract
يدرس هذا المقال أثر الإمكانات السياحية الطبيعية والبشرية في تنمية واحة وادان. ويبين أن النشاط السياحي أسهم في توفير فرص العمل ورفع دخل الفاعلين المحليين وتنشيط البناء والترميم وزيادة الإنتاج الزراعي وتثبيت السكان والحد من الفقر والهشاشة. كما يستعرض مقومات الواحة التاريخية والطبيعية والخدمات المرتبطة بالسياحة، ويبحث إمكان استثمارها في خلق تنمية محلية مستدامة. ويناقش المقال تراجع الحركة السياحية بسبب عوامل أمنية وصحية، ومنها العمليات الإرهابية وجائحة كورونا، مع الإشارة إلى مؤشرات التعافي وآمال السكان في استعادة النشاط السياحي.
