Abstract
يعرض المقال مكانة الثروة السمكية في موريتانيا بوصفها موردا اقتصاديا وغذائيا رئيسا، مستفيدة من غنى المصايد الأطلسية وتنوعها البيولوجي. ويبين إسهام قطاع الصيد في التشغيل والصادرات وجلب العملات الصعبة ودعم الأمن الغذائي والتنمية المحلية، إضافة إلى دوره في تنشيط الموانئ والصناعات المرتبطة بالمنتجات البحرية. كما يناقش فرص تطوير الصناعات التحويلية ورفع القيمة المضافة، مقابل تحديات الصيد الجائر وضعف البنية التحتية. ويؤكد المقال ضرورة إدارة المخزون السمكي بصورة مستدامة لضمان استمراره للأجيال القادمة (*).
