Abstract
يبحث المقال عن جذور مفهوم أفق التوقع، المرتبط بنظرية التلقي الحديثة، في النقد العربي القديم. ويتناول علاقة النص بالقارئ ومعايير قبول العمل الادبي أو رفضه، ودور المألوف والمفاجأة والتقاليد الجمالية في توجيه التلقي، مبرزا وجود تصورات نقدية تراثية تقترب من بعض مبادئ جمالية التلقي (*).
